Re: How many wins will we get from our remaining fixtures ?
3 points from 5 games tells you where we are. Apparently, he has improved us. Still no clean sheet since, ironically, Forest. Why everyone thinks it will all be made right after the January transfer window is absurd. Our track record with strikers is so bad that to think it will change now is incredible. There are not 3 worse teams in the division at this moment in time. Nuno is looking at this weekend not as a free hit but can I keep it down to a 2-0 or 3-0 defeat, whereupon we could be be 6 points adrift of Leeds for gods sake. However, I do agree it's between us and Leeds who go down. Good job it's not going to go down to the last game of the season because we are playing..... oh, FFS Leeds

With this squad, our fragile mentality and Nunos defensive approach to a lead. I reckon 6 wins and 3 draws at most.
That's most certainly securing a relegation spot.

As a team that was battered at home by the worst travellers, Brentford, there's no point looking at the fixtures individually. I live in hope that the widely mooted 35-40 points is enough but as we know if anyone can be relegated with over 40 points, it's us.

Re: How many wins will we get from our remaining fixtures ?
I think we will beat Fulham, brighton and wolves. Draw with Forest.
and then we will go on a good run.
My feeling is we have not been playing badly as a team and if we had got more points on the board earlier in the season people would not be panicking.
We just need some no nonsense forward players to get us through the season. I’m not a fan of getting championship players. We need been there done that ones. Like a younger Wilson. No one from Germany or Italy. France or someone who wants to come back from Saudi (Toney?).
Either we spend properly now or we lose tons of money in relegation. not a hard choice.

Re: How many wins will we get from our remaining fixtures ?
Let’s see what happens in January, as (even with little money) the window becomes all-important.
But as things stand, can’t see us getting more than 35 points. Doubt that less than 35 will keep us up.
Still think this is a relegation year, squad and vibe. Everything feels disjointed. We need a couple of Lingard-style loans who get us ticking. And we need some leadership.

Re: How many wins will we get from our remaining fixtures ?
Spurs stayed up with 38 points last season, losing 22 games. So it can be enough.

Let's see what pops out in the January window before we decide on whether it's pissing April showers or in need of weapons grade KY Jelly for the rest of the season.
Lets face it Sullivan isn't going to be spending big on players. He won't put his hands in his pockets until we sell the likes of Rodriguez and Fulkrug. If anything we'll buy some backup players on loan from abroad or some ex premier league player who is way past it.

Reckon we'll have 35-40 points. Should be enough to avoid the drop.

Why does the fixture list surprise you?
Did you not realise that we play everyone twice?

I've not really considered us getting relegated until now but looking at that fixture list it really don't look good. Can't see us getting more than 35 points. The final game vs Leeds will probably relegate one or the other of us. Even then, we're going to have to pull a blinder in the transfer window and actually bring in players that suit Nuno's style of play, not just whoever's Sully's agent mates are trying to get shot of.

Gay Wank,
See my post above...29 points + the 13 we already have = 42 points.

8 wins and 4 draws . We ain't playing shit despite how much some are pretending otherwise.
Re: How many wins will we get from our remaining fixtures ?
This season has the distinct feeling as the one we went down under Roeder.”The players are too good.” “Their are three worse teams out there.!” “We are just unlucky with our form.!” Etc. Etc.
It’s fair enough saying. Wait until after the January window to start worrying. But that horse. Has already bolted. We’re dead. And it’s Death by Inches.
COYI.
