West Ham the worst fans in football
Doesn’t matter who the manager is you know that it’s only a matter of time before West Ham fans start chasing them out of the club. Happens all the time. So Moyes is the current target how long does the new one have before he gets the wanky treatment? 2-3 seasons as per?

"Maybe we will, maybe we won't see a new manager come in.....that's why the moaning will continue about Moyes until he's officially gone."

Re: West Ham the worst fans in football
"I enjoyed most of it and from earlier than 86 RM10, I enjoyed most of it because I knew where we stood, in the start (for me) much of the team remained the same bar a few tweaks and we used any youth players that made it well. We were not well invested into on the football side for the main part but had moments of brilliance all the same especially under Lyall & Redknapp. Most the other managers managed some minor miracles as well, but the Fat Sam & Moyes tenures really are a struggle to watch but in Sam's case fully understood why he was appointed just it was a season too far on how long he stayed. Likewise with Moyes I didn't enjoy that single season of his but did enjoy the second round first season of his when he had them pressing and harrying the opposition........now I'm finding his spoil the game tactics tiresome and he's taken too long to turn it around to us playing the football or at the least matching possession. Last night is not his normal nor does he want it to be as the past few years has shown. His worst crime for me has been the money he has been given and thinking of all the managers to back very well why his style to set up?"

Re: West Ham the worst fans in football
"Ive been a fan since the late 60s.. had a poster of the late great Bobby Moore on my bedroom wall.. and have followed them through thick and thin... the 70s and 80s downs ups and cups so I know exactly what being a West Ham fan is like. When we are fighting relegation win or lose I have always backed the team and the manager... but when you know its a lost cause e.g. Grant and Roeder sometimes you have to look for change.. With Moyes its different, with me its got very personal in the fact that Moyes is an extremely unlikeable manager due to his unfounded arrogance. Ive got to the stage where I actually feel he does not deserve to be associated with my club given the total mismanagement of the squad (smallest, oldest and slowest) the abuse like nature of his mistreatment of Benny, Cornet, Downes, Fornals, Haller, Scamacca etc and his firm belief that we as a club have never had it so good... (Im sure the Nazi war machine had a similar PR stance). Which is abject nonsense unless you only mark success as reaching 6th place in the top tier (Lyall 3rd, Redknapp 5th) and winning a 3rd rate European trophy (matched by Redknapp in 99) having spent the best part of 1/2 a billion pounds.. whereas in my heart I see success as winning FA cup followed by ECWC or winning the FA cup from the 2nd tier ... Call me an old romantic but Id prefer it if we played an expansive game .. last night was exactly what weve been asking for and if Moyes were to continue this way like he did for the fist 12 months or so when he returend Id be happy, but that doesnt forgive him for the mismanagement of the squad and the problem there is I dont trust him to be able to do that especially with him reporting to Steidten.. I'm afraid he still has to go.."

"We live in a world of instant success, no winners and losers at school, as such, following a football club through thick and thin, isn't the same anymore."

"Len, of course they will it's ONE game in how long? Even when in a purple patch it was dire, spoil the game of football, from our side. 4 years of enjoy the result NOT the game itself bar a few times ffs, of course the moaning will continue as that is his stall set up.....he could play like last night from now to the end of the season and should still be got rid of is what many think."
Re: West Ham the worst fans in football
"I want Moyes gone or at least have his final say on recruitment removed. At no time have I ever said I want us to lose and I don't actually remember anyone else saying it either although someone probably has. So is it just the much criticised Moyes supporters saying ""look at me being a good WH fan..."""

Being the worst advert for English football in Europe may be success to you Len that is why you are a lemming......

"I am not a lemming. Anyone who purports to be a West Ham fan, yet actually wants the team to lose a game purely to vindicate their dislike of our most successful manager in 40 years, is a cսnt."

"Len you are just a Lemming, and your take on what being 'genuine' West Ham is based on what is now a business that in the main represented East London & parts of Essex.....you see it as literally a club......it's not just that, football is not just that..... that is why there is so much time and money put into following the game by so many.......you've also it seems always put a lot of distance between yourself and that club........yet you want to be the standard of what is 'genuine' West Ham?"

"Last night we were 3-1 up, I think, we misplaced a pass, which didn't go down well, the co-comm said even a miss placed pass here is like a crisis, must admit it did make me think have we turned a bit cunty? I dunno, I haven't been for years and times have changed, are other fans the same? Our home and away support does seem far apart, but playing in that bowl really can't help."

You have to ride the waves. Can get hard but you have to stick with it and find optimism where you can. I always start every game optimistic. The Arsenal game was tough. Last night was euphoric. The highs are high the lows low. Onwards and upwards.

"Surely it depends on the code of ‘football’, Pickle? Fae Fitba, it’s rooon. Never want us to lose, travel all over watching West Ham, still want him gone. You can cheer on the team and want a change. Plus he reminds me of a poor man’s Michael Cain and I can’t have that."

That pretty much sums it up Len and would guess the vast MAJORITY of West Ham fans think the same.

"east I am not a ""MOYES fan"" either. However, he is the manager of West Ham United. Therefore I wish him and the team to be successful and win matches of association football. Anyone who disagrees with the sentiments I have expressed is not a genuine supporter of West Ham United. It's as simple as that."

Re: West Ham the worst fans in football
"Leonard I agree with most of what you said. But not everyone on here is moaning and those who are might not be West Ham fans. Before I went tonight I read on here that the place would be empty because so many ""fans"" wouldn't be going and the place would have its worst turnout. There were some empty seats but not many. Those there got behind the team and the atmosphere was good. Maybe the way forward is for the constant moaners to stay away. And for info I am not particularly a Moyes fan but neither am I that obsessed with him being sacked. For some on here, it is more important that their opinions are confirmed than West Ham win"
