To be honest Denmark look a far superior team
See if they are with 10 men
Ludicrous dive from McGinn brings a red

The foul was on the line so it was a penalty.

The equaliser is the least Denmark deserved. Scotland have been awful.

The BBC's jock pundits are raving about that goal. It was ok. I've seen much better overhead kicks in my time.

He has played a combined 113 minutes this season for Bournemouth so I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t have played against us on Saturday.

Massive game for Scotland tonight.
Irving on the bench.

Bowen gets fed tidbit wanky minutes here and there and never a proper go at it like other pet favourites get. No wonder he struggles to get any decent rhythm scoring in front of goal.

The thing that might get him on the plane is his ability to also play CF.

I'd imagine Tuchel will have noticed he's an abysmal CF.
That's poppycock dude.

Bowen has struggled to score for England and yet finishing is his biggest asset for West Ham even when not doing much in general play.  For England he tends to do much better in general play, assists and passing etc because England dominate possession in all games in qualifiers.  Its when England meet the top 5 or 6 nations they come up short. In the last 10 or so years that has been mostly the CBs and defence but last couple of tournaments imo has been lack of pace in central attackimg role. The overuse of Kane in every game has been a big part of that. Great goal scorer, good passer but against the very best teams has never delivered other than the odd penalty. Its what will prevent us winning the WC and Euros again imo as in fairness to Kane there seems not too many alternatives. Watkins is 30 but can offer some pace and finishing and if Tuchel has followed Bowen closely at club level he will know  that he can finish very well and has done so at a club that has struggled for years and usually has low possession. Hence, someone worth having in the squad and as an option when the opposition gets far better in hopefully latter stages of tounaments. He will only ever be seen as an impact sub though and as mentioned the issue is that his cameos have not seen him score so perhaps Tuchel will prefer the fast wing play of Madelke even though ( again only my opinion ) he is not a good finisher at club level and struggles in many games against better teams who deny him room.  But then again I suspect Tuchel will pick him, as most England managers have done down the years, because of who he plays for without really considering the fact that Bowen has often had to produce something from nothing in a poor team rather than one that dominates.
