Sad news, 62 is still middle aged these days.
Played in the same Hampshire side as Gordon Greenidge and Malcolm  Marshall.

RIP

RIP

I will always remember his vicious cut shot.
The ball certainly stayed hit as it rocketed towards the boundary.

My younger brother died a few weeks ago, 67, didn't even have a chance to claim his pension. Life can be such a bitch.

RIP Robin, and condolences to your family and all who knew you.
???????
You can claim state pension at 66 at mo so your statement is incorrect and makes me wonder why?
Sympathy IF your brother has passed, but somehow like most of your posts there is an element of bollocks about it
Well. THAT didn't take long, did it?
What it does, inadvertently, tell you is the kiddie fiddling retard earns so little on his uber eats gig that any notion of a pension beyond the state one is such an unfathomable notion it doesn't even enter his mind.

Really? I can only think of Graham Thorpe and Johnny Barstow's old man. What other cricketers have topped themselves then?
Arthur Shrewsbury. The only man to hit a six over the pavillion at Lords.

In fairness to Swiss, the 'suicide is high among ex-cricketers' thing is real. I believe it actually applies to all ex-professional players of team sports

I remember the 175 against WI in Antigua. . I think he only did one Ashes tour with a one 50 scored. Pretty crap.

Still RIP Judge.

I read that only 2 of his tons were scored outside of the UK, that really surprised me. RIP the judge.

This has been a terrible few weeks for deaths.

I remember Smith being an absolute beast against the great fast bowlers of the time. RIP

Why would your brother not be able to claim state pension at 67?Maybe you didn't know how old he was then?
Was he a cartoonist? As some of his details are sketchy
English is clearly not your first language, is it, you thick fuck? Read, again, what I posted and try, this time, to not spin it into a futile weapon against me.
Thought ladyboys cock was biggest weapon used against/by you!
You believe that you can think? Will wonders on this site ever cease?

Maybe then I've been mislead.

It's clear there's an issue within the game regarding mental health. Some survive and some don't. Can be a very lonely existence in that particular Sport with so much downtime away from home amongst other factors. Sad to see.

For a sport so dedicated to statistics, cricket's darkest numbers are misleading

He lived in Perth & believe he met up with some of his old teammates at the Test & at the Lilac Hill game
Had a very serious drink problem for a long time … a bottle of vodka a day for 12 years … but understood he was on top of that
