Rodgers turns to the cornerback for the 49ers (I think) and says something like 'you guys should get him after this year'. It's not exactly the world's biggest insult to Jennings. It's an odd thing to say to an opponent during a game, granted. But his contract was up soon and he'd indicated he was leaving. The real insult would have been to say 'you can take him now'! I'm sure Rodgers is hard work, but that tale makes Jennings sound like a complete snowflake. He says Rodgers' statement 'messed me up'. Really? We all heard worse things in the school playground every day."
