If 100s of thousands of people are demonstrating, why are the far left fascist groups like Antifa allowed to have a counter demonstration. they should be politely told to fuck off and then turn water canons and batons on them. They only ever want violent confrontation, are only ever there for a good time, provide no useful service to society, and as far as being anti-racist they  are anti semitic hypocrites. They represent nobody.

Unheard gets it more than most

There are two possible scenarios. The first is that these people are not serious, and that this is all the empty performance of callous children. There is much evidence for this hypothesis: the loudest calls for political violence, displayed on social media, come from those who would be more obviously the victims than the perpetrators of the outcome they demand: the physically weak, the mentally fragile, the beneficiaries of a stable society they proclaim the wish to overturn. Just as with the deification of Luigi Mangione, the assassin whose most prominent journalistic groupie is a woman of indeterminate age frightened to go outside without a Covid mask, I have seen calls for political violence coming from a paraplegic woman unlikely herself to be manning checkpoints late at night or digging graves for her vanquished enemies. The bloodcurdling rhetoric of these silly and unworldly people, demanding further assassinations on Bluesky as if ordering food from a delivery app, is discordantly removed from the reality of the political violence that would surely cull them first. The spectacle is so absurd that it seems almost demeaning to take it seriously.

He was none of those things. Again you are parroting a desperate left wing narrative as fact, which makes zero sense.

Trying to attribute blame on Nick Fuentes and his followers is just another perfect example of the dangerous rhetoric that is out of control on the left. It doesn’t take two seconds to see which group are celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death and Nick Fuentes isn’t a part of it.

Social media has a lot to answer for.  The echo chambers and radicalisation at both ends are severely dangerous.  Neither side willing to listen to the other.  So many stories of people refusing to engage with family over a difference of politics.

For all the continuous repetititive bickering and arguing and pathetic name calling on here and despite nobody even conceding points a little, people are at least engaging in a difference of opinion on here

So, then. 110,000 would rather have our women & children's safety placed in national importance above 5,000 who would rather hand (other people's) money out to those who don't deserve it, let alone have earned it.

A tad more comprehensive that the Brexit result, but guaranteed which side will get all the positive media coverage and which side will be portrayed as selfish, evil bastards.

Tyler Robinson killed Kirk because he wasn’t right wing enough

I see the effects of division and where it will lead
Unfortunately the President of the United States doesn’t care about driving unity in the nation
That is an extremely dangerous position

It’s incredible that you would double down having criticised the speculation on right, by parroting the desperate narrative of people on the left.

It’s also amazing you double down on Trump. When the left  rioted for months over a dead junkie criminal, yet there will be absolutely no equivalent of this from the right.

Perhaps Trump has decided that the most effective way to "clean the swamp" is a civil war where the extremists cut each others' numbers down to a more manageable size.

Neither a pleasant or, in my opinion, a civilised stance, but he clearly knows more about his country than do you or I.

There are faults on both sides.
With problems on the right egged on by the Orange Fascist who is in the position of PRESIDENT of the entire nation and all the people

The harmless Kirk?
The man who questioned the brain power of black people to understand his arguments, questioned their competence to perform ANY role
Whipping up prejudice & hatred. No?
It’s incredible you keep pretending to be in dismay at division in America, when you use the exact rhetoric the left have been sowing that the antifa nut job used as justification to kill Charlie Kirk.

I see that fat mess Abbott has said that protests outside hotels are “ racist “.

No debate.

This is how the left operate, disagree with them and you are labelled or in Charlie Kirk’s case, shot.

Sky News have had to upgrade their estimates from thousands to "tens of thousands".

It's difficult for the mainstream media to play this down the amount of numbers that are there.

We live in a biological world.
evolutionary game theory is a well established tried and tested theory. I recommend reading up on it.
I'm well aware of it, along with the hawk-dove game, was part of my degree, what was pseudo academic about you mentioning them is it has absolutely no bearing on any of this at all imo, unless you'd like to explain why you think it does?
I’ll give it a go.

Evolutionary game theory is one about populations, growth, survival and offspring and methods employed to achieve payoffs but particularly the payoff of replication.

the West had achieved this very successfully by a combination of religion, science, technology, philosophy and industrialisation from the 19 C. Birth rates and survival in Britain were beyond anything previously known. Access to resources was equally unheard of.

Anyway, jump to the last 50 years and birth rates in the West have plummeted ( interestingly mostly in left leaning populations) while the rest of the World gained all of the benefits we once led in. Most populations are seeing birth rates decline but certain populations are seeing or have seen huge population growth.

What impact does this have on the minds of people around the World? Huge. Access to resources, survival and replication remain critical drivers against the politics of left, right or centre.

The games that are played out all feed into the sense of success or failure of populations. The lad who allegedly committed this crime doesn't seem like a drugged up nutter. He exists in this melting pot of political and religious and cultural warfare.

Who’s winning? Humans in general as we add 80-100 million new humans every year but mostly in Africa and Asia and they want more of what we have.

Evolutionary game theory is a very easy way to explain actions and behaviours. A hawk and a dove have very different methods for survival but they are polarised and its all biological.

Most of us arent generally hawks so we find their behaviour abhorrent. as it may be but they exist and impact the lives of others.

Being said that the killer may have been a fan of White nationalist  Nick Fuentes and despised Kirk because he wasn’t right wing enough for his taste

America is in crisis and is a world of hate & extremism
