Max Kilman
This lad is a real problem.
At £40mil, it's getting to the point of worst ever signing territory. The worst crime in football is hiding, centre back is probably the one position you can half get away with it, but not for too long. Shirks taking responsibility, who imo makes him worse than Mavropanos, at least he fronts up, which can lead to mistakes. Kilman doesn't, so it doesn't get highlighted.
We've obviously got a massive overhaul in the summer, but for me, he is the biggest problem in our team and we need to cut our losses if we can. It took a while to spot, because he hides, but you can't fool people for too long. Wolves fans told us, some wouldn't have it, but they were dead right. Absolute fraud of a player.

Re: Max Kilman
A seven year contract is ridiculous and stinks to be honest
Wasn't there some sort of wrangling over Maidenheads cut between the three clubs where they took a lesser percentage so the deal would go through ?
At 28 ,this deal should take him up to the end of his career although it would appear the pipe and slippers are out already and a Zimmer frame not to far behind.
Apart from the clubs total incompetence in signing such a dud the thing that disappoints me the most is having been awarded such a deal his apparent lack of professionalism pride and reluctance to leave everything on the pitch and training ground to at least try and improve his level of performance.
To even see him scythe someone down in frustration or lose his rag out there would be some sign of a pulse.

They have no capacity to learn the error of their ways...
C Wilson
Kilman
Ings
Wilshire
Winston Reid (decent enough defender given a beast of an over generous, long term contract)
Carlos Sanchez
Chicharito (the little Mexican)
Andy Carroll
That's just half a dozen or so off the top of my head...there are countless others...they simply refuse to fucking learn.

Unless we are relegated and another side is nuclear-grade stupid enough to pay decent money for him, and to him, we are quite likely to have Kilman on our books for years. It'll be a much longer version of Danny Ings: he's got absolutely no incentive to move on. Nobody else will pay him 100k a week. And absolutely nobody will pay him £30m for another six years.
The fee (£40m) was a truly appalling decision. The contract and wages (£35m+) are almost criminal.
There's a good chance we will still be complaining about Kilman and his wages in 2031.
(PS - I don't blame Max Kilman for signing that contract, btw. In his shoes, I would have signed it faster than you could blink).
It's such a ludicrous contract that I wouldn't be at all surprised, given the way the club operates, if a percentage of that fee/those wages vanishes into brown envelopes that then make their surreptitious way back to certain board members who may have sanctioned the purchase

Re: Max Kilman
Gary O Neil is just pointing out what every coach and player in the league would know about Kilman. Every attacking player just waiting for him to switch off for a minute and then go for it.
Played every single game for us since signing? An automatic selection every time, never fighting for his place, never coming back from injury or suspension and having to dislodge another player.

I'm struggling to think of a player (we've bought) that needs to prove his worth more that this guy.

If Mads Harmansen was sent to bench for his contribution, Max Kilman should be sent to the fucking butcher's.
The only positive with him is his name.

The player we should have signed from Wolves was playing last night - Collins.
Mav is still shit as well, mind. The problem with him is that he can be decent/competent for almost all of a game but then do something absolutely stupid and cost us a goal or give away a penalty- case in point the end of the Everton game when he was fucking lucky not to after being an absolute bonehead in getting us right in trouble. He seems to have one horrendous ricket in him every single game. You cannot rely on a single one of them to actually be solid for 90 minutes.

Re: Max Kilman
When was the last time a centre half actually got on the scoresheet for us ?
Aguard ?
Zouma ?..
Mav ?
Kilman and Tobido are so fking lazy I'm not sure they even bother coming up for corners anymore.

Re: Max Kilman
Maybe because the clips are condensed into 4 minutes and not over the course of a game where he rarely lasts an hour. I reckon Iain Dowie might look decent in only 2 minutes of action. Ok that's maybe stretching it but principle still stands.

Or maybe remove them both.
Not fit for the shirt, Potts and Adiele should be the starters from now on.
Unfortunately, the clubs incompetence is beyond belief

Re: Max Kilman
Yup, Todibo without question has talent but cannot be arsed. Clearly doesn't bother getting/staying match fit and is a woeful decision maker- that dive in far too far up the pitch where he totally missed and they were away in the second half sums him up.
Mav tries but just isn't very good and is a calamity waiting to happen every single match
Kilman is lazy and doesn't concentrate
Todibo is lazy and doesn't give a shit
Those are our centre backs gentlemen. 90 million quid's worth. I'm not even bothering to mention the glorified coathanger we got from Brighton.

The dope is definitely sharing sneaky reefers with Kilman in the showers when no cunts looking. Why else wear a nose plaster to aid breathing when he's clearly allergic to running the lazy cսnt.
